Holiday Home Tour

Semi~Annual on the first Saturday in December

December 3, 2011

Victorian Home Tour time is coming to Coldwater, Michigan.  The classy painted ladies of history are opening their doors to visitors.  The Branch County Historical Society is busy completing the many plans to make this Home Tour the best ever.

December 5, 2009 is the date of this grand occasion.  Dressed in Victorian Christmas splendor the jewels of Coldwater offer a warm invitation.  The owners of these homes offer a one-time-look at their antique architecture.  Other historic structures and businesses will add to the variety.

The Wing House Museum will be the springboard for the tour.  The Museum itself is splendor personified.  The Wing family possessions are displayed and there will be a decorated tree in every room.  Live musicians will fill the rooms with Victorian carols.   St. Nicholas will be handing out treats and will offer photo opportunities.  An old-fashioned Wassail will also be at the Museum from Noon to 7:00 p.m. Ticket price is included in the Home Tour tickets price or Wassail only tickets are available.

Tickets are limited, so early purchase is recommended.  Tickets would make a great Christmas gift or start a holiday tradition for your family and friends.  The spirit of a Victorian Christmas is an experience that can be shared all.  The proceeds from the home tour benefit the crown jewel of Coldwater homes, the Wing House Museum.

Tickets may be purchased in advance by calling  (517) 278-2671 or (800) 968-9333.  The Home Tour ticket prices are $15.00 for Adults and $10.00 for Childern (includes Wassail).  Wassail only tickets are $5.00 each
